More news . . .

Just a quick post (please be sure to see about Chloe's birthday below). I wasn't going to post about this until tomorrow - but sometimes it just is helpful to either talk or "type" it through. I just heard from my hubby and he said that they told him at work that he has 2 weeks left. First let me say that I am totally just trusting in the Lord . . . but still in a kind of shock. Does that make sense? I know we will be okay and taken care of. I also know that this somehow is apart of His master plan. I just am a little surprised at how the nation's economic pains are affecting our home in such a personal way. We appreciate your prayer and know that God will provide for our family - he always has.
Now go read about Chlobug! ;-)

Wow. It is such a blessing to see your faith and trust in the Lord during such a time. You are an example to us all. As I read your blog I thought of how you portray this verse so perfectly.
"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5

I'll be praying for you. Jobs are so necessary in our world, but with the LORD as our Great Provider we can KNOW that we will lack for nothing!
Remember... "Casting all your car upon Him, for HE careth for you." I Peter 5:7

So sorry to hear this sad news... I was sad enough to hear MY BANK was going down... and now this...

Will be praying for your family... get some rest and continue to trust Him... He does ALL THINGS WELL.
Then, too: "this TOO shall pass..."

Charrissa- it is through times like these that we get to see the hand of God in a most vivid way! Praise the Lord for times like these as our faith grows and we see the providing hand of the Lord! I love you and hope you are feeling better.

Your faith is a rebuke, yet an encouragement to me. We will be praying for your family and that the Lord will provide a way in His perfect way.

I'll be praying! What a burden - He will provide for you. And I'm not saying that because it's the "Christian thing to say". ;) I've been there with my family - God WILL provide. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help?
